PHOTO WALK ON A RAINY DAY & RAMEN CRAVINGS ALONG THE WAY
Memories are flashing like it was just yesterday.
Two years ago, I was there. My heart was so happy that I could dance for joy. I have been wanting to spend a day relaxing on this beautiful resort called Happy Beach in Cebu.
That certain feeling when you finally reach your goals? It was the same feeling I felt when I have finally explored the place.
I'm a lover of anything pink and a fan of bright colors, that's why it has been on my bucket list when I saw its ad on Instagram 3 years ago. So, I told myself that I will definitely visit the place. Then it happened! I finally booked a day use on this beautiful resort 2 years ago.
It was actually the birthday of the ex when this happened. So writing this will make me remember those happy times we spent together. Though, I am slowly moving on and I have to thank God for giving me my Hive Community that kept me busy and pre-occupied to finally stop hurting.
Going back, I booked a day pass ticket and rented a day bed near the pool. The day pass ticket that time was Php 699/weekday Php849/weekend for online booking. For walk-ins there's an additional payment of Php100.00 on a weekday and Php50.00 on a weekend, though I don't know if they are still on business and how much is the rate this year.
On top of our day pass ticket we have reserved a Happy Jungle Day Bed worth Php1,500.00. You can actually pick which bed would you prefer at their reception area and I chose the one that was near the pool area. A Day Bed comes with 2-4 free towels and some snacks.
Now, I just want to let you know that the snacks wasn't satisfying at all. If I were to say, the 1,500.00 for the Day bed wasn't worth it. I actually grab the day bed because of the free snacks since it was a great deal but it turns out that the food wasn't great at all. It looks good on the photos and I only ate the chips and enjoyed drinking the juice but the clubhouse sandwich wasn't appealing.
We just had a bite that was it. Maybe next time, together with my daughter and sisters, I'll just pick the Pink Day Cabana so we can relax more because it was actually a little hot on the Day Bed.
Everywhere you look seems so inspiring for me. That's why it's called The Happy Beach!
I roam around the place and had my photo taken. Incase you're wondering, I actually bought several bikini pairs for ootd.
That's it for my flashback Saturday. I'll be doing a blog series about remiscing my past travel every Saturday.
What do you think?
And oh! I can't wait to share today's beach travel with my friends and how we enjoyed our stay there.
Stay tune for my next beach photos! 😊 Thank you for dropping by and for upvoting! It means a lot! See you on my next post!
